the phazer 3 works very well. i have not found anything wroung with this produck.
There is one addition to your vehicle that can save you a good deal of money if you fancy yourself a lead foot. This piece of equipment is the radar detector, and it has saved people a lot of money of the years. They are always improving on themselves, by becoming more accurate or broadening the scope of search in terms of threats. A recent advancement in terms of units is the voice alert radar detector. This little gadget will not only warn you of problem areas, but plainly explain what the potential problems are with accuracy.
If you have had your license for a while you may have very well been on the wrong side of this question: Do you know how fast you were going? Of course you do, and that need for speed has landed you on the side of the road with a freshly written ticket.
But how exactly did he know you were speeding at all? Well, there is noticeable excessive speed, like ripping through a school zone at 60 miles per hour. For the most Rocky Mountain Radar Detector part, however, you are actually on the wrong end of a radar gun. These are highly accurate depictions of speed at any time their signal meets your moving vehicle. As advanced as these guns have become, the other side of the coin has been working hard to keep you from sitting along the side of the road with a new ticket.
Radar detectors have been around since about the time that radar guns were first being used. Their main job is keeping you aware of where radar guns are being used. Since radar guns emit waves, in all types of the guns, they are easily able to be determined on the typical police frequencies in a broad are. The radar detector warns the driver of an impending speed trap or radar gun in use by signals of lights and unique noises based on the strength and type of signal.
Radar detectors also work on the premise of scrambling the information that is relayed back to the unit of a radar gun. This makes it so that the officer who gunned your vehicle cannot get an accurate reading and actually determine with any degree of accuracy how fast you were actually going.
Voice alert radar detectors not only notify you of the potential for threats of various kinds, they give you an accurate verbal description of that threat. In some cases this could be a dangerous intersection, a waiting speed trap, or a mounted camera that has been causing a bit of trouble for many drivers. It helps to actually hear a voice telling you what to expect and when you are in the clear. If you are considering the purchase of a voice alert radar detector, you might start by checking out some of these popular brands: Whistler, Rocky Mountain Radar, and Cobra.
If you are looking into getting a detector, you should consider a voice alert radar detector. They are the top of the line and highly informative. A detector is a great investment if you are always trying to skim some time off your projected ETA.

Escort Passport 9500i VS.

This video is an urban radar detector test shot in a suburb of Chicago. The Passport 9500i is running in Highway mode with the GPS filter OFF ...

I think this product is great. It has saved me many times and seems to work perfectly. I would recommend this for purchase to anyone.
I have lost count on how many tickets this baby has saved me – it’s not quite the best one on the market, but for the bucks paid, works extremely well.
I think there are law enforcement commenting on these reviews, to keep you for using it. It works for sure. I owned mine since I can remember, and I jam ever cop and their guns. If I wasn’t, I’d have tickets up the ying-yang.
I have tested their products and they do no work as advertised. They do provide low end radar and laser detection, but for the price you can buy much better units from reputable radar detector makers. They do not scramble laser or radar used by police to prevent you from getting a ticket. Be sure to Google Rocky Mountain Radar BEFORE you buy one of their products. If you still end up buying one of their products, I have some bridges I’d like to sell to you. Here is a video with a review showing how their products don’t work, and that fake documentation was given to the news network to say it works:

You have been warned…
although the rmr phazer 3 is actually a joke. I doesn’t really protect you from anything. its been proven over and over again all over the net to do nothing…but its kinda of nice to have on your dash and gives you a sense of false security. LOL I have to say the price is the best feature. I got this at a amazing below 5o dollars..so you can’t beat that deal. If you really want laser jamming get a active one not a passive one. its really not worth the money to get one knowing if you get caught with it you’ll probably serve some jail time…lol so all in all I can only say great price..great conversation piece.
There are reviews of this piece of crap all over the Internet. One of the big car magazines cracked open a Rocky Mountain Radar unit a few years back and found only lights and wires inside. Nothing that could scramble ANYTHING. This is a fake product and this company has been selling them for years. They can get away with it because the attitude of the police regarding this fraud is that if you are going to try to buy a scrambler, it serves you right if you buy a fake one. There ARE NO WORKING Radar Jammers currently available for sale. There ARE working LASER Jammers available from other companies, but the cheapest working ones will cost you nearly $500.
By all means, if you think this works, buy it. Because Radar Roy (a retired cop) will pay you $50,000 once you have it tested and prove that you have a working passive radar jammer. Just Google “Radar Roy’s Challenge”
I ordered this from Amazon and when it arrived it had a sticker on it that stated the scrambler was deactivated. I’m not sure if this is because I’m in Colorado where these are illegal or if they all are like that from Amazon. I returned it and Amazon gave a prompt refund. If you read the reviews it’s controversial whether the scrambler works or is just a gimmick/scam, but if there’s no scrambler, you might as well just get a better radar detector. I have an older version of the RMR that I have been using for many years and I have never gotten a ticket when using it. I did get a ticket once when I forgot to turn it on, not sure if that’s just a coindidence.
I’ve been using the C450 since November 2008 and have gotten 3 speeding tickets!!! In my opinion, the unit is totally ineffective against the instant-on radaring technique that NM State Troopers seem to prefer using. I drive from Alamogordo to Las Cruces (140 miles a day) 5 to 6 days a week…so needless to say I haul the mail. This unit seems to be effective at detecting a radar signal if the cop has their radar on continuosly. As far as the jamming feature…let’s just say I’m not convinced! About a week ago the voice box suddenly started acting weird and now I can barely understand what it is saying. I contacted the manufacturer (located in El Paso TX) and they said if I bring it in they will fix it while I waited free of charge since I bought it less than 3 years ago and if I had my receipt. I’ll get it fixed and am sure I’ll still use it, but I’m seriously thinking about buying the Bell GX65. Also, I agree with the other review about the annoying start-up sequence it does.
I have owned several of the Rocky Mountain Radar Detectors and think that they are great. They give you plenty of advance warning so that you can slow down to avoid getting a speeding ticket. The scrambler actually works. This is the only brand that I have found that actually works.
